Appresso Fresh Catering is owned and operated by husband and wife team Murray & Sam Mackessack. Originally catering under their brand ‘The Matapouri Kitchen” Murray & Sam bought Appresso Fresh in October 2008.
The two Companies were an ideal match; Appresso with it’s strong base in corporate online catering, and the Matapouri Kitchen which specialises in function catering and weddings.
Murray and Sam have both had extensive experience in restaurants and hospitality establishments in New Zealand and overseas – from Africa, Europe and Australia to the tiny kingdom of Tonga, where they managed a resort on the beautiful islands of Vava'u. They bring to you a wealth of knowledge and plenty of hands on experience in dealing with those logistical problems off site catering can bring!
We are based in Douglas Alexander Parade in Albany, where we have our commercial kitchen.
