Founded by Eber Santos and Sidney Junior,EJ FOODS our mother company purchased Appresso in 2022 during lockdowns with a mission to honour and nurturing the ownership of Murray & Sam Mackessack, previously known for their brand 'The Matapouri Kitchen'. The fusion of Appresso's corporate online catering expertise with Matapouri Kitchen's specialization in functions and weddings became an ideal match.
The acquisition of Appresso Fresh in October 2008 marked a milestone, expanding our reach and enhancing our services in the corporate world across Auckland and New Zealand. Situated on Douglas Alexander Parade in Albany, our hub boasts a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, the heart of our culinary craftsmanship.
