Changing The Way We Cater
Covid -19 and it's spread around NZ and the world has obviously had a huge impact on Appresso Catering and we know we are not alone in this.
At Level 3, we are able to open for business, as long as we stay carefully within the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health. Like all small businesses we are very keen to get back to work but realise it may take some time to get back to how things were before.
To this end over the next few weeks we will be introducing more in the way of individual boxes, encompassing breakfast, morning and afternoon teas, as well as the lunches that we currently do. This will help with the rules around social distancing and the need not to share food.
We're hoping that we won't have to change the essence of our business and that sooner rather than later we will begin to be able to focus on our Corporate customers. We will keep everyone updated by way of emails on what we're offering and the products we may introduce depending on how the business environment changes over the next month or so.
We can offer contactless delivery to your workplaces or individual homes, as well as a contactless pickup from our kitchen in Albany.
Precautions in Our Workplace
We have always maintained a huge focus on good cleaning and hygiene for our customers, with the result that we have always had an “ A “ grade from the Council.
We have reviewed and updated our cleaning and sanitising plan with our staff to ensure they are cleaning more frequently and with extra care – on high contact surfaces such as counters, door handles and bathroom taps. Our delivery vans are cleaned and sanitised thoroughly and our drivers are ensuring their hands are washed regularly. We are following the Ministry of Health guidelines to ensure we all help keep everyone safe, so when we come into your workplace, you can be assured the upmost care has been taken in preparation and food delivery.
